Abadi Kahsu Gebre
Mr. Abadi Gebre is a Research Fellow at Edith Cowan University who has recently passed his thesis titled "Cardiovascular Disease, Musculoskeletal Health, and Falls: Exploring the Nexus." During his PhD, he demonstrated that older women with CVD are an underrecognised high falls risk population using a prospective observational study. Now, building upon doctoral research, he seeks to understand why and how cardiovascular disease increases the risk of falls and fractures, with the ultimate goal of developing better ways to prevent these events from happening.
