Josephine McCarthy
Dr Josie McCarthy is an endocrinologist affiliated with Monash Health and Eastern Health. Josie completed a B. Pharm (Hons) and worked as a pharmacist at Royal Melbourne Hospital prior to completing a postgraduate MBBS (Hons). She did endocrine advance training at Western Health, Alfred Health, Peninsula Health and Eastern Health and obtained her FRACP in 2022. Josie is now a PhD candidate in the Department of Medicine, Monash University. Her clinical research focuses on primary aldosteronism in patients with stroke and transient ischaemic attack.
