Ashleigh Carolan
I am currently intermitting my medical course at Monash University, after finishing my fourth year in 2020, to complete a Bachelor of Medical Science (Honours) degree at the Hudson Institute of Medical Research. I have developed an interest in medical research and particularly oncology through meeting patients with incurable illnesses. Coming from a clinical background, I wanted to challenge myself to learn more about the basic sciences by gaining experience with laboratory work.
